Watch election returns on campus

November 1, 2004

All members of the campus community and general public are invited to a special session of the "The 2004 Presidential Elections: Issues and Analysis" class from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 2 -- election night -- in Jack Adams Hall of the Cesar Chavez Student Center. Participants will watch election returns on a big-screen television and a panel of faculty experts from the Political Science Department will provide real-time analysis.

Political science faculty members Corey Cook, Francis Neely, Robert Smith and David Tabb will discuss the election returns.

The unique two-unit course, taught by College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Dean Joel Kassiola, is a lecture series designed to help the campus community and the public better understand elections, political campaigns and campaign issues. SFSU faculty members hold weekly panel discussions on the campaign and the hottest issues in the party platforms, followed by discussion.

For details, visit the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Web site.
