IT Day showcases the best in higher ed tech

September 22, 2003

Image of IT Day logoThink you could pass a lie detector test? Find out at an IT (information technology) Day exhibit presented by SFSU's Cognitive Psychophysiology Lab. Or use a biofeedback machine to see if you have unhealthy computing posture and habits at a booth staffed by members of CLIMB, SFSU's ergonomic safety program.

IT Day, presented by the Division of Information Technology, provides an opportunity for SFSU colleges and departments to showcase their innovative uses of technology. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Quad in front of the Cesar Chavez Student Center.

In addition, exhibitors from such leading tech firms as Apple, IBM, HP and Palm will be on hand to introduce their products and services.

IT Day will also feature a special presentation on technology and terrorism by David Fischer, SFSU diplomat in residence, at 10:30 a.m. in the presentation tent.

For details, and a full list of exhibitors, see the IT Day Web site.
