'Promises': a film about children in Jerusalem

Two children from the film"Promises" an award-winning film featuring the attitudes and anxieties of Jerusalem's children, will be screened at 11 a.m. and then again at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in Jack Adams Hall of the Cesar Chavez Student Center.

The film features seven children, ages 9-13, speaking about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It has a running time of 106 minutes and was directed by Justine Shapiro, B.Z. Goldberg, and Carlos Bolado.

The event is sponsored by Associated Students Performing Arts and Lectures and is part of SFSU's Year of Constructive Civil Discourse.
