December 2, 2002 In a Nov. 29 column printed in the San Francisco Examiner, President Robert. A Corrigan lauded the efforts of Business Professor Gary Selnow to connect communities in third-world nations to the rest of the world, via the Internet. Selnow has set up computer centers in the Balkans, Kenya and Nicaragua to provide health-related information to medical professionals and other community members. Corrigan wrote that Selnow is an example of how SFSU faculty and students are broadening the definition of community engagement. Read the full column at the Examiner Web site.
