Our 2002 Trip to Cuba
In April, 2002, the SFSU Chamber Singers will be traveling to Cuba to join ensembles from around the world in performances at the International Choral Festival in Havana, Cuba. This 9 day festival will feature not only performances by the SFSU Chamber Singers, but also several friendship concerts between Cuban and American singers, culminating in the SFSU Chamber Singers joining the National Choir of Cuba in an exciting final program.
How Can I Help?
A tour of this magnitude is a serious financial undertaking and we can use your support! We have raised a significant amount of money but still have a ways to go. In addition, there are opportunities for corporate sponsorships, which include program recognition and logo placements in publicity materials. Yes! We are excited to be able to extend this offer to friends who would like to travel with us. Our itinerary offers something for everyone: the excitement of Havana, the charm of colonial Trinidad, and the tropical beauty of Playa Ancon, where we will wind down at the end of our tour before returning home.
