Abstract Strategies used by latency-aged children to cope with pediatric migraine are identified in this exploratory study. Three broad categories of coping and their subtypes emerged from the data: affective, cognitive, and problem-focused coping. Implications for practice, research, and education, particularly regarding the use of spirituality and prevention, are discussed. (Journal abstract.)
