Abstract |
Ethnic identity status and outcome were assessed in a heterogeneous group of 342 Asian-American adolescents. Development progression in both ethnic identity status (from foreclosure to moratorium to achievement) and ethnic identity outcome (from unidimensional separation to bidimensional integration) was found, as was an association between ethnic identity status and outcome. Implications of the findings are discussed. (Journal abstract.)
