This study addresses emerging trends and issues in human behavior theory with special reference to the relevance of these trends to social work practice. Specific items addressed are gender and ethnic racial variables, biological variables, life span development, cognitive variables, learning theory, group level variables, exchange theory, macro level variables, and the labeling and perceptual process.
