MGMT 354—Students in Free Enterprise
Prerequisite: ENG 214
This course is designed to give non-business majors a practical introduction to the process of starting and managing a successful small business. Students participate in a team project which will take them through an actual setup. For more information contact Dr. Gaglio

640 Managing Diversity in the Workplace (revised)
In-depth exploration of how gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, and size impact employee experiences and management's challenges and opportunities for developing the talents of diverse workers. Prerequisite 405.

648 Leadership Patterns & Opportunities
Discussion and practice of management and leadership theories and skills. Understanding individual leadership potential on a personal and organizational level.

650 Creativity & Innovation (revised)
Building innovative skills by breaking out of limiting patterns; integrating intuitive, rational, associative, sensory, motivational, and emotional intelligences; managing innovation through negotiating, collaborating, creating future scenarios. Prerequisite 405.

MGMT 670 Strategic Organizational Design & Change
Prerequisite 605.

The study of designing and changing organizations to respond and adapt to 21st century global competitive demands. The focus is on applied analysis at the work group, cross-functional, and organizational levels, and on the implications for managing change.

MGMT 677—Managing People Effectively

(For Non-Business Majors)

Prerequisite: Senior level standing or consent of instructor; this course is designed specifically for non-business majors including engineering, nursing, design, and psychology majors that intend to pursue management opportunities in their chosen field. A hands-on class that prepares those from non-business professional degree programs to be future managers. It’s a practical how-to class that uses real-life scenarios to prepare participants for the people management situations they will face.
