New Courses Variable Topic Courses MGMT 434—Family Business Dynamics MGMT 354—Students in Free Enterprise 640 Managing Diversity in the Workplace (revised) 648 Leadership Patterns & Opportunities 650 Creativity & Innovation (revised) MGMT 670 Strategic Organizational Design & Change The study of designing and changing organizations to respond and adapt to 21st century global competitive demands. The focus is on applied analysis at the work group, cross-functional, and organizational levels, and on the implications for managing change. MGMT 677—Managing People Effectively (For Non-Business Majors) Prerequisite: Senior level standing or consent of instructor; this course is designed specifically for non-business majors including engineering, nursing, design, and psychology majors that intend to pursue management opportunities in their chosen field. A hands-on class that prepares those from non-business professional degree programs to be future managers. It’s a practical how-to class that uses real-life scenarios to prepare participants for the people management situations they will face.
