Education in the Management Department provides the student with a broad background in the overall management of the business enterprise.

The programs are highly flexible and can be adapted to the individual needs of the student.

The Management Concentration will prepare you to succeed in a wide array of job positions in virtually any career. It will teach you to see the “big picture” of any organization, how key pieces fit together, and how the organization fits into an industry, field, and the overall economy.

Ron Purser, professor of management and associate editor of MERLOT's Business Discipline Community, presented, with Dr. Huei Lin Domizio, "A Taste of MERLOT: Teaching Chinese Language Using Digital Learning Objects."

The presentation was held at the recent International Studies Association conference in San Francisco on March 26, 2008, for a  panel session titled "Creative Approaches to the Teaching of Language: Continuing Our Conversation."
