Welcome to the SFSU Fall 2008 MATESOL Conference Website

Since 1964, the M.A. TESOL program at SFSU has been educating students in innovative teaching strategies as well as the latest research in second language learning and teaching. Each graduating class organizes a conference at which they give presentations exhibiting their scholarship and experience, and to share knowledge and resources with faculty, their colleagues in the program, and other English-teaching professionals.
This semester's graduating M.A. TESOL students come from six countries and have diverse teaching backgrounds and interests. The contribution of these perspectives has created richly edifying classroom interactions, in which the students have been instrumental in developing each others’ approaches through seminar discussions, group projects and peer evaluations.
This group of TESOL professionals (the seasoned and the bourgeoning) invites you to join in their collaboration by attending the Fall 2008 M.A. TESOL Conference at SFSU on December 5, 2008, a fine opportunity for enhancing pedagogical knowledge and strategies as well as for networking.
