You Can Be An Elementary School Teacher in 4 1/2
Years!
Enrolling in this program allows you to:
• Take the appropriate courses to become a well-prepared elementary
school teacher and prepare for the CSET
• Earn the Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies
• Begin a preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
in your senior year.
• Meet all university graduation and credential requirements
in an accelerated program!

Unified School District
Requirements
•Phase I: Complete specified coursework (approximately 61
units), earn a minimum GPA of 2.75 and pass CBEST
•Phase II: Complete specified coursework (approximately 31
units), earn a minimum GPA of 2.75, pass JEPET, pass all three subsets
of CSET (Parts I, II, III), and apply to the credential program
•Phase III: Complete specified elementary education courses
with a GPA of 3.0 and pass RICA
