Undergraduate Graduation Application Guidelines:

  1. You may apply for graduation in the fall, spring and summer. Typically the application deadline is within first two weeks of the semester or summer session. The Annual All-University Graduation Ceremony is held at the end of May. To participate in the Spring Ceremony you must have completed a minimum of 100 units to apply.
  2. If you are applying to graduate, be sure to see a General Education Advisor in the University Advising Center, Adm. 212 or at the CHHS Student Resource Center, HSS 239, to insure that you have completed all GE and University Graduation Requirements.
  3. Application forms are available either at the Registrar’s counter in Student Service Building (One Stop Center) or printed from the SFSU Website, under Registrar and Forms.
  4. Have your department advisor review and sign your application.
  5. Complete a Kinesiology Department Exit Survey, in addition to the on line All-University’s Exit Survey (even if you previously completed a department survey). Exit surveys are available in the Department Office, Gymnasium 101.
  6. Have Department the Associate Chair review and sign your application.
  7. Pay the $40 application fee (or $10 if you are re-applying) at the Cashier’s Office in the Adm. Bld. or at the Student Services Bld. (One Stop Center) before the designed deadline.
