Gator Youth Sports Summer
Camp - 2008
Dr.
David Walsh, professor of Kinesiology, will be hosting the San Francisco State
University Gator Youth Sports Summer Camp, a program with a 30 year
history. Boys and girls (ages 7-14) will be grouped by age and offered a variety
of developmentally appropriate sports and physical activities. The program aims
to enhance self-esteem and confidence through physical activity and sports
instruction, in addition to promoting fitness and motor skill development.
Dates & Times:
The program will take place June 16—July 25 and run from 1pm to 5pm
Monday-Friday. Participants are strongly suggested to sign up for all six
weeks. The program fee is $700 for all six weeks, however a weekly rate of $150
per week is also offered.

The drop off point
is at the bleachers in Cox Stadium (please refer to the campus map). You must
enter the university off Lake Merced Boulevard. From Lake Merced Boulevard, turn
onto North State Dr. (not State Dr.) and proceed to the fork in the road. Turn
left which will be a narrow road that will circle around Cox Stadium. The drop
off point is exactly between Cox Stadium and the Gymnasium. The bleachers are
directly to your right. This is also the pick-up point.
