SFSU Itec

The ITEC Student listserv and the ITEC student/alumni network (ISAN) are comprised of graduates from and current students in San Francisco State's ITEC program. ISAN coordinates meetings with professionals in the field, and organizes social activities so students may become acquainted with their peers.

The ITEC department administers two email listservs:

The Itecstudents list supports current students in the San Francisco State's ITEC program. Additional information is sent through the ITEC_INFO ilearn course website. Active students are enrolled in the ITEC_INFO course automatically.

The ISAN-l list supports the members of the ITEC Student Alumni Network (ISAN) and is for ISAN-related announcements such as ISAN meetings, events, and job announcements. The LinkedIn group is for job postings, professional discussions among alumni (and students), and networking.

More information on general listserv operations can be found on SF State's listserv webpage. Specific questions about the itecstudents or ISAN-l listss should be directed to the ITEC office (415-338-1509).

ITEC Students Listserv Instructions
To JOIN the student listserv:
  1. Send email to: itecstudents-request@sfsu.edu
    Note: You should send this email from the account at which you wish to receive your itecstudents email. The listserv software will only enroll the email address that sends the request.
  2. No subject is required.
  3. In the body of the message type: subscribe
  4. E-mail will be sent to you from Majordomo once your subscription request has been approved.
To REMOVE yourself from the student listserv:
  1. Send email to: itecstudents-request@sfsu.edu
    Note: You should send this email from the account which is receiving your itecstudents email. The listserv software will only unsubscribe the email address
    that sends the request.
  2. No subject is required.
  3. In the body of the message type: unsubscribe
  4. E-mail will be sent to you from Majordomo once your account has been dis-enrolled (immediate).
