Advanced Instructional Multimedia Tools
Prerequisites: ITEC 823
This course focuses on the advance production process for instructional multimedia, through the workflow phases of design, development, management, and delivery of Computer-Based Instruction prototype. Emphasis will be on instructional methods, curriculum delivery, design principles, problem solving related to user interface and interaction design, advance multimedia techniques, using Adobe Flash and other development platforms. Before enrolling in this course, students should already have the basic fundamental skills needed for creating an interactive instructional multimedia project. Students work throughout the semester following a production schedule, creating a final instructional multimedia project which is either web, CD-ROM or video-based.
