Computer Foundations for Multimedia Authoring
Prerequisites: Demonstration of computer literacy.
This hands-on course introduces instructional multimedia and web-authoring tools use to produce instruction on a CD-ROM and on the Internet. Students learn the basics of instructional software design and development, focusing on Photoshop and ImageReady, and QuickTime Pro, iMovie, SoundEdit, Fetch and Toast. Students learn about printers, networks, scanners, digital cameras, and video and sound digitizing. This course is offered in an all Macintosh computer laboratory. Students will design a final multimedia, web product.
