Introduction to Instructional Technologies

This class is a survey of the field of instructional design and technologies. The class will prepare students for more advanced courses in the Instructional Technologies Program and will help them make decisions about pursuing a career in this field. In addition, students will explore their own temperaments, learning styles and interests in the field, and will survey current trends, ideas, and practices in the uses of various instructional technologies. Students will learn about the concepts, terminology, and current practices of instructional design in the following topics:
