Kathleen Ferenz has over 15 years of experience in the design and delivery of curriculum and technology-oriented professional development for K-12 and 10 years of experience as a university lecturer in Instructional Technologies at San Francisco State University.
She is interested in curriculum development and technology infusion strategies and how they align to content standards for K-12 to promote learning in a 21st Century classroom context.
Ms Ferenz has had the opportunity to teach at nearly every grade level in her 18 year teaching career and presently is a full time library technology teacher at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA. She is also an Apple Professional Development training consultant for a wide variety of K-12 projects across the United States. She has her B. A. from San Francisco State in Political Science and she attended the University of Florence, Italy, to pursue advanced studies in International Law. She is an American Memory Fellow to the Library of Congress and in 1996 she was selected as a Fulbright exchange teacher. She was awarded the Golden Torch in Instructional Technology in 2001 from San Francisco State University. She has an M.A. in Instructional Technologies and M.A. in Educational Administration.
