Humanities Educational Leadership Program
H.E.L.P. : SFSU College of Humanities Resources : Software

Resources Available on Hera, Athena and CD-ROM

The College of Humanities has many software programs available for use by faculty members, staff and students on its file servers, Hera and Athena. Check H.E.L.P. regularly, however, since new software is added as the need arises and as funds become available.
A note to faculty members: Remember that you are not restricted to the software available on your office computer. In Humanities 405, the College of Humanities Faculty Computer Lab, you can experiment with programs on either DOS or MAC Platforms. A color slide scanner, projection unit, and laser printer are also available.
A note to all users: Software in red is available on MAC platforms only while software in blue is available on DOS/Windows platforms only. Those programs in black are available for both platforms. Software marked with an asterisk (e.g. Authorware), is currently available only to students enrolled in specific classes or faculty members.
