Faculty & Staff Personal Counseling Services (EAP)
The Faculty and Staff Personal Counseling Service offer confidential, referral and crisis intervention counseling to all San Francisco State University faculty and staff. The Service also provides consultation on a variety of issues including psychological debriefing when trauma occurs. The services are provided through the Counseling and Psychological Services Center. Professionally trained licensed therapists, psychologists and clinical social workers are available to meet with staff and faculty. For the benefit of employees, several of the counselors are bilingual.

Counseling and assistance will be provided for a variety of issues including: Personal, Professional, Marital, Family Related, Chemical Dependency, Psychological, and Job Related
Confidential
In keeping with accepted professional practices, counseling is confidential. No information is released to supervisor, Dean, Department Chair, the Human Resources Department nor to any outside agency or person, without written consent. No information from the Faculty and Staff Personal Counseling Services will appear in any departmental, central or personnel file.
Cost Free
There is no charge for Faculty and Staff Personal Counseling Services. If referrals are needed, we will gladly connect you with appropriate services in your community.

Office hours: 8 am to noon and 1 pm to 7 pm Monday – Thursday; and until 5 on Friday
