Introduction to Benefits: Information about health, safety, and benefits

The most important thing to know about benefits is that some plans have a Period of Initial Eligibility (PIE), which is usually 31 days from your date of hire. You must enroll within that period of time. Most campus departments have a Department Benefits Counselor who can help you with enrollment.
