CSU Contribution

CSU contribution rates for all non-represented employees and employees of all bargaining units except Unit 6 are currently set under Government Code, subject to continuing collective bargaining. The CSU contribution rate is as follows:

• Government Code
• $566.00 - Employee Only
• $1,074.00 - Employee + 1 Dependent
• $1,382.00 - Employee + 2 or more

• Unit 6
• $571.00 - Employee Only
• $1,084.00 - Employee + 1 Dependent
• $1,402.00 - Employee + 2 or more

Premiums which exceed the State's contribution are paid by the employee through payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis. Premiums, benefits and State contributions may change annually.
