Village at Centennial Square
Single or double occupancy room in a furnished apartment with a kitchen and two bathrooms.
Eligibility: Buildings A and B are reserved for students who are 19 years old but under 25 years old. Status must be sophomore, junior, senior, and grad students. Building C is reserved for students under 22 years old who are participating in the International Community.
Description
Housing provides a 256 Kbps Internet connection for each resident. Both wired and wireless connections are provided to all residents. Higher speed connections are available at additional cost.
Housing provides a single telephone line in each unit that is shared by all roommates. The line has free local and campus calling and a single voicemail box. A telephone instrument is also provided. Long distance plans and individual phone numbers are available at additional cost.
Named in 1999 during the Centennial celebration of the founding of the University, the Village was inaugurated in 2001 and first opened for student housing in the Fall of 2001. The Village is designed to offer the best on-campus housing options to upper division students in an apartment-style community that incorporates a fitness center, and several eating and convenience store options.
Specially adapted units for students with disabilities are available on a first-come first served basis to students who register thru Disabilities Programs & Resource Center (DPRC).
