University Park North

Situated on 24 beautiful acres adjacent to the Stonestown Galleria Shopping Center, University Park North provides unfurnished units to faculty, staff, alumni and students of the University. Offering the best of both worlds; enjoy living in one of the most exciting cities without the hassle of hectic downtown. The property boasts spectacular views of Lake Merced and the Pacific Ocean, and is only steps away from San Francisco State University main campus.

We offer one, two and three bedroom tower and garden units, with spacious living and dining rooms. In addition, units come equipped with the following special features:

University Park South

Comfortable and convenient townhouse living is available to San Francisco State University faculty, staff, students, alumni and their household members. Adjacent to the main campus, University Park South's apartments are owned by San Francisco State University and managed by University Housing

SFSU affiliates have the option of the following types of units:

  • 2 Bedrooms/1 Bathroom (931-1068 sq. ft.)
  • 3 Bedrooms/2 Bathrooms (1,260 sq. ft.)

All town homes are equipped with spacious living and dining rooms with many units containing a semi private patio. Some utilities, on site laundry facilities and covered parking, are just a few of the amenities associated with living at University Park South.

Located across the street from Lake Merced, which offers abundant opportunities for recreation and leisure activities- jogging, golf, tennis and more with Stonestown Galleria Shopping Center and United Artists Twin Cinema a short walk away, residents are in close proximity to retail stores and entertainment. Public transportation, including both SamTrans and MUNI is within walking distance or take advantage of San Francisco State University's free courtesy shuttle which can take you to the main campus and BART .

Driving Directions

From the North: Take Highway 101 south, cross the Golden Gate Bridge (toll $5). Take 19th Ave/Hwy 1 exit. Follow 19th Ave for several miles, then make a right turn onto Winston Drive. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Buckingham Way. The main office will be on the right hand side.

From the East: Take I-80 across the Bay Bridge to Hwy 101 South. Take 101 South (stay on the right) to I-280 and take the second Daly City/Mission Blvd. Exit, bearing right onto Sagamore St. and then to Brotherhood Way. Follow Brotherhood until it ends and then take a right to merge onto Lake Merced Boulevard. At the third stoplight make a right onto Winston Drive. At the first stop sign, make a right onto Buckingham Way. The main office will be on the right hand side.

From the Northeast: Take I-5 to the 505 freeway to I-80. Take I-80 across the Bay Bridge to Hwy 101 South. From SFO Airport: Take Highway 101 to the 380 junction to I-280 North (follow signs to San Francisco). On I-280 North stay in the left lane to exit at 19th Ave./Hwy 1 and stay on 19th Avenue/Hwy 1. At the third stoplight make a left onto Winston Drive. At the first stop sign, make a left onto Buckingham Way. The main office will be on the right hand side.

Parking Information
Parking is available in front of the University Park North Office at 21 Buckingham Way. Please park in the stalls marked “Prospective Resident,” while inquiring about information, availability and options regarding housing with University Park
