Located across from the residence halls, the Science & Technology Theme Community (STTC) is designed to make the transition to
college life easier for students interested in the science and technology fields
The small community of 100 students offers double-occupancy rooms with private bathrooms. A choice of three meal plans is included.
The STTC provides a "small college experience" approach to students, including a dedicated computer lab.
The STTC Program is a Learning Community designed to assist students acclimate to the university through academic, college-based,
social and residential connections.
The STTC Residential Learning Community Program is housed at the Science and Technology Theme Community.
You will be living in a room with another student who has also signed up for STTC Learning Community.
Studies have shown that students who participate in Learning Community programs have better potential for success academically,
are more knowledgeable about their college department and campus and finally, have the opportunity for more social interactions.
Really, it's because it is fun!
Students apply to the STTC living and learning community when they apply for Housing. Once your application for housing is received,
we will send you a Student Housing License Agreement and the STTC Learning Communities Agreement.
You submit your Housing License and STTC Learning Community Program Agreement together. Students sign up for their
Fall Semester STTC classes during Summer Orientation.
