Description
The Living Fit Environment (LiFE) Learning Community is specifically for students who have declared a major within the
College of Health and Human Services. Residential learning communities are created when a common bond links residential
and academic programs. This common bond is you!
The LiFE Learning Community is designed to make the transition to college life easier for students interested in Heath and Human Services.
The College consists of the professional schools and departments for: Child and Adolescent Development, Consumer &
Family Studies/Dietetics, Counseling, Health Education, Kinesiology, Recreation and Leisure Studies, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Social Work.
For more information on the college, see their website: http://chhsweb.sfsu.edu/.
The LiFE Learning Program places you on the same Towers at Centennial Square coed floors as other students in the program.
LiFE Students will be sharing apartments in the Towers @ Centennial Square. LiFE students sign up some classes in common.
(You will be receiving specific information regarding your classes during the spring). This means you are taking some of
the same classes as your apartment-mates and the other people on your floor. You automatically have people to study with,
help get you to class in the mornings, and collaborate on assignments. The staff provide study sessions to assist in your
academic success and fun activities to give you a mental break from hitting the books. It's a great way to learn and to meet people.
