Double occupancy room in a furnished apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. Eligibility: Full-time freshmen under 25 years of age who elect to be in a Residential Learning Community.
Description
The M.V.P. Living Learning Community is specifically for Freshmen who have declared a major within the College of Creative Arts (i.e. Art,
Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts, Cinema, Design and Industry, Theatre Arts, Music and Dance).
Residential learning communities are created when a common bond links residential and academic programs. This common bond is you!
The M.V.P. Learning Community places you on the same Towers at Centennial Square coed floors as other students in the program. M.V.P.
resident’s sign up for recommended common classes, including a required First Year Experience in Creative Arts Course only open to
students in the M.V.P. community. (You will be receiving specific information regarding your classes during the spring).
This means you are taking the same variation of classes as your apartment-mates and the other people on your floor.
You can have a similar schedule as a dozen or more people on your floor. You automatically have people to study with,
help get you to class in the mornings, and collaborate on assignments. The staff provides study sessions to assist in
your academic success and fun activities to give you a mental break from hitting the books. It's a great way to learn and to meet people.

The M.V.P. Living Learning Community Program is a Learning Community designed to assist students acclimate to the university through academic, college-based, social and residential connections. |
Where: |
The M.V.P. Living Learning Community Program is housed in the apartments at the Towers @ Centennial Square. You will be living in an apartment with other students who have also signed up for M.V.P. Learning Community. |
Why: |
Studies have shown that students who participate in Learning Community programs have better potential for success academically, are more knowledgeable about their college department and campus and finally, have the opportunity for more social interactions. Really, it's because it is fun! |
How: |
Students apply to the M.V.P. Living Learning Community when they apply for Housing. Once your application for housing is received, we will send you a Student Housing License Agreement and the M.V.P. Learning Communities Agreement. You submit your Housing License and M.V.P. Learning Community Program Agreement together. Students sign up for their Fall Semester M.V.P. classes during Summer Orientation |
