Double occupancy room in a furnished apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. Eligibility: Full-time students under 22 years of age who
elect to be in a Residential Learning Community.
The Behavior and Social Sciences Learning Community (BSS) is specifically for students who have declared one of the following majors:
Anthropology, Criminal Justice Studies, Economics, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, International Relations, Labor Studies,
Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Urban Studies. Residential learning communities are created when a common bond links
residential and academic programs. This common bond is you!
The BSS Learning Program places you on the same Towers at Centennial Square coed floors as other students in the program. BSS students sign up for some common
classes. (You will be receiving specific information regarding your classes during the spring). This means you are taking the same variation
of classes as your apartment-mates and the other people on your floor. You can have a similar schedule as a dozen or more people on your
floor. You automatically have people to study with, help get you to class in the mornings, and collaborate on assignments. The staff
provide study sessions to assist in your academic success and fun activities to give you a mental break from hitting the books. It's a
great way to learn and to meet people.
The BSS Learning Community Program is for entering students who are interested in apartment living and plan to major in a the College of
Behavioral and Social Science. For more info on majors in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, check out their website:
