The SF State Housing application for 2014-2015 will be available beginning Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Applicants will need to apply for the University before applying for Housing, as the SF State ID number and password are required to access the online Housing application.
Applicants will be emailed their SF State ID number after completing their University application on CSU Mentor. After creating a password, applicants can use the ID and password to apply for Housing. Questions about the ID number and password creation should be referred to the Registrar at email@example.com.
If you have received an ID number and successfully created a password, and still have problems accessing the Housing application, please contact the Housing Office at firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name, SF State ID number, and a description of the problem. .
Please note that current residents should NOT apply for 2014-2015 at this time, as they will be included in the Returning Resident Process in the Spring.

The Spring 2014 application is no longer available online. If you would like to apply for Spring 2014, please email the Housing Office at email@example.com with your full name and SF State ID number to request a paper application.
If you have already applied for Fall 2013, you may email to request to Spring Forward your application.
Updated November 2013: Housing installment payments are due the first of each month, September through April. For the Fee Schedule, Installment Breakdown, and answers to your payment questions, please see the Paying for Housing section of our website. Please see below for the last day to pay without receiving a late fee each month:
- September: Friday, September 6, 2013
- October: Monday, October 7, 2013
- November: Thursday, November 7, 2013
- December: Thursday, December 5, 2013
- January: Sunday, January 5, 2014
- February: Wednesday, February 5, 2014
- March: Wednesday, March 5, 2014
- April: Saturday, April 5, 2014
Payments must be made by 5pm on the date above to avoid the $20 late fee.
