Forwarding E-mail
Log in to https://www.sfsu.edu/email to:
- Have e-mail addressed to your sfsu.edu account forwarded to another account
- Modify your forwarding address
- Delete a current forwarding address
Switching from POP to IMAP
In the past, SF State recommended POP for SF State e-mail. Now, the newer and more efficient IMAP protocol is recommended.

Web-based E-mail
inside.sfsu.edu Web e-mail provides access to e-mail, calendar and other tools from any Web-enabled computer -- on or off campus.
inside.sfsu.edu/portal is the access point for multiple Web-based e-mail and calendar options (plus other Web tools for the campus community)
Webmail.sfsu.edu is an ADA accessible Web-based e-mail program.
