E-mail Configuration

IMAP Account: your e-mail address

IMAP Server: you can find your server by logging in at http://www.sfsu.edu/email

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Port: Use SSL and port 993.

SMTP Server: Your SMTP server will be the same as your IMAP server

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Port: Use SSL and port 465.

We strongly encourage the use of the IMAP protocol. For more information on why we recommend not using POP please see POP vs IMAP.

POP Account: your e-mail address

POP Server: you can find your server by logging in at http://www.sfsu.edu/email

Incoming Mail (POP3) Port: 110

SMTP Server: sfsu.edu

Outgoing Mail (IMAP) Port: 25
