WinQVT
WinQVT is a popular shareware Telnet Client that runs on PC's with Microsoft Windows installed. New versions of WinQVT can be downloaded directly from QPC software.
A crash course on how to use WinQVT
- Start WinQVT by clicking on the
button on the Windows task bar, selecting Programs and selecting the WinQVT icon.
- After starting WinQVT you will see the following windows.

- From this panel of buttons select Terminal, then you will see this screen.

- Use this screen to fill in the name of the Telnet host. For example, to connect to the SFSU login server apollo, you would enter apollo.sfsu.edu as the host name. When you have entered the information click OK.
- If you correctly entered all the information required in the previous step, you should see a sign on screen. The following example is a portion of a sign on screen (the rest was blank).
