If your computer is managed by local IT support, please contact them to request installation. Local IT support can contact DoIT to learn about alternate ways to install and distribute the Creative Suite software.
If you manage your own computer, visit Adobe’s downloads website at http://www.adobe.com/downloads and download Creative Suite Design & Web Premium for your operating system. Faculty and staff that need the additional applications found in the Master Collection can download Master Collection instead.
Install the downloaded software and select Free Trial when prompted for a license key. You will be given the chance to choose which applications in the suite to install. If you later need to add applications, re-run the installer. You can use the software for 30 days before you need to license it.
To comply with licensing requirements it is important that accurate records are maintained of all installations. An installation occurs each time a copy of the software is licensed on a physical or virtual machine. All faculty and staff who install or use the software must agree to the conditions of the master agreement between CSU and Adobe (PDF).
Faculty and staff can request a small licensing application called a “serialization executable” that will license the Adobe software to the machine it is installed on. This application will be sent to your SF State e-mail address for you to run on your computer.
