[Quality Assessment]
To assess the impact of its curricula on students’ knowledge acquisition and skill
development, it is important to develop clear goals and measurable objectives.
The faculty is committed to ensuring that programmatic goals are developed to
reflect the changing needs in the community for health education, and are dynamic
rather than static.
The Bachelor of Science in Health Education program has eight overarching goals. To learn more about program assessment, please see the accreditation category in the Undergrad Program section.
The Master of Public Health program has many goals and objectives in the areas of instruction, service and research. The curricula is also grounded in the responsibilities and sub-competencies adapted from those developed by SOPHE and AAHE. The MPH program is a CEPH accredited program.
