Thesis / Written Creative Work Guideline Information


To graduate in the semester you finish your Thesis / Written Creative Work you must complete all of the following steps by the "Submission of Thesis / Written Creative Work Deadline" printed in the Schedule of Classes-University Calendar. Be sure to give yourself enough time to finalize all corrections and obtain the required signatures.


    1. OBTAIN Thesis / Written Creative Work Guidelines from the web*, or purchase the guidelines at Campus Copy Center (located in the Student Center, M110 / $2.00).

    1. PRINT preliminary pages of your thesis on plain white paper (See Thesis / Written Creative Work Guidelines).

    2. BRING preliminary pages AND any pages with charts, graphs, tables and special fonts or font sizes to the Graduate Studies ADM-254 for first FORMAT CHECK. You may bring your entire thesis if you want a more thorough review.

    3. MAKE all corrections suggested by the Thesis / Written Creative Work Reviewer.

    4. REPRINT the Preliminary Pages that you have corrected and/or reformatted.

    5. BRING corrected manuscript for a final format check to the Thesis / Written Creative Work Reviewer.

    6. MAKE A MASTER COPY and submit completed and approved Thesis / Written Creative Work on high quality white paper (paper available at Campus Copy Center).

    7. GET "Certification of Approval" and Abstract pages signed off by up your Thesis / Written Creative Work Committee.

    8. RETURN signed Thesis / Written Creative Work to the Graduate Studies ADM 250 in order to

    9. RECEIVE signed Thesis / Written Creative Work Receipt from Thesis / Written Creative Work Reviewer then

    10. TAKE the Signed Thesis / Written Creative Work Receipt with the Master copy or copies of your Thesis / Written Creative Work to Campus Copy Center (located in the Student Center, M110) to pay binding fees. A copy of the Thesis / Written Creative Work Receipt will be forwarded to the Graduate Studies to authorize graduation.

 

IMPORTANT: Keep your copy of the receipt until you have officially graduated and have received all additional thesis copies requested.
