Steps To Applying:

The Graduate Admission Application For San Francisco State University Is a Two-Part Process. You must complete and submit BOTH parts of your application to be considered for admission.

 

Part One:

1. Apply to graduate study at SFSU Apply online through the CSU Mentor website by clicking here. The Office of Graduate Admissions no longer accepts paper applications to graduate programs.The application fee is 55.00 USD and we recommend that you pay online by credit card at the moment you submit your application.

 

2. Send the Division of Graduate Studies the following:

          Official academic documents from every college or university ever attended.
          TOEFL or IELTS score report
          Financial Statement/Medical Insurance Form (click here for the form)
          $55.00 application fee by check or money order if you did not pay online by credit card. Please make check or money order payable to San Francisco State University.

Part Two:

1. Apply directly to your program or major Review your intended program of study/department's website for specific graduate admission criteria. Below are links to all SFSU program/department websites:

2. Send all department specific admission materials directly to your intended major/program of study. Send letters of recommendation, statements of purpose, GRE/GMAT scores, etc. directly to your major/program of study.
