Graduate Students Association (GSA)

The GSA was formed to provide a forum where matters of concern to graduate and professional students may be discussed, where opinions on actions and proposals of the University Administration and campus departments may be expressed, and where interactions between the administration, departments and graduate groups may be initiated.

Join SFSU Gsa Graduate Studies on Facebook to connect with graduate students and for upcoming information. http://www.facebook.com/sfsugsa)

GSA aims to unite SF State graduate and professional students, provide an opportunity for networking and community building, and promote access, growth, and excellence. We will host a variety of events and workshops that will equip students with the information needed to progress towards your graduate degree. Gain more information about the procedures for award of a Master's degree from Graduate Studies staff, advisors, and representatives from the Graduate Student Association (GSA). Topics will include:

1.     Completing the ATC/GAP and Culminating Experience proposals
2.     Navigating the IRB and human subjects process
3.     Master's thesis format checks
4.     The top 10 reasons for graduation denials

We plan to offer future workshops to assist Graduate Students. If you are interested in participating in the GSA, please register through ORGSYNC using your SF State email and password (mail.sfsu.edu), or contact gradadv@sfsu.edu.
