Graduate Students Association (GSA)

The GSA was formed to provide a forum where matters of concern to graduate and professional students may be discussed, where opinions on actions and proposals of the University Administration and campus departments may be expressed, and where interactions between the administration, departments and graduate groups may be initiated.

Taking the proper steps to complete your graduate degree should start early. Gain more information about the procedures for award of a Master's degree from Graduate Studies staff, advisors, and representatives from the Graduate Student Association (GSA).  Topics will include:

1.     Completing the ATC/GAP and Culminating Experience proposals
2.     Navigating the IRB and human subjects process
3.     Master's thesis format checks
4.      The top 10 reasons for graduation denials

We plan to offer future workshops to assist Graduate Students.  If you are interested in participating in the GSA, please contact gradadv@sfsu.edu.
