Join us for the Graduate Studies Orientation on Saturday, August 9th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or Friday, August 15th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Graduate Studies Fall 2008 Orientations will be held in Knuth Hall.
You are embarking on a great academic adventure and we want you to have a positive experience despite the academic pressures you may experience coming back to the University. At this session we will help you understand the policies and procedures that will help you earn your degree with the least frustration and the greatest enjoyment. In addition we will provide you with information about support systems throughout the University: Student Health Services, Public Safety, Graduate Advising, class registration, advancement to candidacy, culminating experience (thesis, project, creative work) and the new continuous enrollment policy for students registered in the Culminating Experience.
We want you to have a great graduate experience at SF State. Please join us for this event. We will have University Bulletins for sale and the updated “GradGuide”. Staff from Graduate Studies will be available to answer questions following the presentation. We look forward to seeing you.
