BEFORE YOU COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FOR AWARD OF GRADUATE DEGREE, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE GRADUATE EXIT SURVEY. Once you log into SF State Gateway and select Academics tab, you will be directed to the Graduate Exit Survey. Complete the survey. At the bottom of the survey, click on SUBMIT. You will then be taken to the Application for Award of Graduate Degree. Complete the application online and click SUBMIT.
*Please note that the address you list as your diploma address is where your diploma will be mailed three to six months after graduation. If you move, it is your responsibility to notify the Division of Graduate Studies at firstname.lastname@example.org with your new diploma address. Addresses changed 45 days after graduating are not guaranteed for diploma delivery. You may have to formally request and pay for a new diploma to be sent to the desired address.
