GIS Students:
To do local printing in X Windows:

1. Switch windows to the one you logged in from -- says "gislab: Login"
   at the top of the window.
2. Pull down the Configure menu bar and select "Terminal"
3. Press the "Printer" button near the bottom of the VT320 Terminal Setup
   window.
4. Change the Mode to "Auto" in the "Printer Setup" window.
5. Press Ok, then Ok again from the "VT320 Terminal Setup" window.

At this point, you've set things up so that any text displayed will be
also sent to the printer.  This state will continue until you turn
the mode back to "Normal"....

6. Then return to your text window, and do any command that produces
   text on the screen, like "cat bozo.txt"
7. When you're finished printing things, use the above process to change
   the mode back to "Normal" (otherwise things will keep printing)
