Summer 2013 Financial Aid Disbursement Schedule

You must return a completed and signed Summer 2013 Award Offer before funds can be disbursed.

At the time of disbursement, the Bursar’s Office will deduct any obligations owed the University for tuition/registration fees, housing, short-term loans, or other charges.

For many students, the financial aid award will not be sufficient to cover all summer tuition/registration fees.

The Due Date for payment of fees NOT covered by financial aid is

July 29, 2013.

After university obligations are deducted, funds available for the student are electronically deposited into a personal bank account.  Sign up for direct deposit at

Disbursement Date

Financial aid will disburse after all of the student’s classes have begun.

If your enrollment plans change after you submit your Summer Award letter, send an email to Include your SF State ID.

Direct deposit of financial aid balance occurs one week after the first day of instruction.
