To assist promising students majoring in Latin American History at SF State in their studies. |
Criteria |
Must be nominated by faculty specializing in Latin American history in the History Dept.; Must be able to describe financial hardship and need for funds in order to continue studies to graduation; Must be sensitive to struggles in the African American community and issues pertaining to people of color; Must include a statement about community service or a letter of recommendation from members of community organizations in support of nomination; |
