To reward academic achievement of individuals with sickle cell disease and to promote their pursuit of educational goals. |
Criteria |
Must be an individual with sickle cell disease; Individuals with sickle cell trait are not eligible; Applicant must be a member of SCDAA; 3.0 minimum GPA unless special hardship demonstrated; Must maintain a 2.5 GPA once in college; General academic achievement and promise; Leadership and community service; Renewable up to 4 years; |
