To encourage undergraduate students who show significant promise, but do not necessarily have the grade point average, to study any field of chemistry.

Students are nominated by Dept of Chemistry and Biochemistry faculty; No application;Graduate study need not be SFSU Students should show significant promise by working with a faculty member in a research project. Students eligible for Florence Haimes or Henry Bertin Scholarships are not eligible for this schol.
