How to Apply
You must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which you can complete online at
www.fafsa.ed.gov
The priority filing deadline is January 1, 2009 to March 2, 2009 to be considered for all types of financial aid even if you do not intend to enroll at SF State until Spring 2010. If you missed the March 2, 2009 deadline, you may still file the FAFSA but you will be considered for the remaining available funds only, usually limited to Pell Grant and student loans. Please be sure to list SF State Federal School Code 001154 on your FAFSA.
