BREAKS

The CSU and SFSU policy require that all employees be given breaks during the work period.

The following schedule applies to student employees:

4-5 hour shift------------One 15 minute paid break        

5-7 hour shift------------One 15 minute paid break and one mandatory 30 minute unpaid meal period

8-9 hour shift------------Two 15 minute paid break and one mandatory 30 minute unpaid meal period
