The National Women's Studies Association leads the field of women's studies in educational and social transformation and is dedicated to teaching, research, and service in women's studies and gender studies. NWSA Conference Registration grants to presenters are offered to encourage participation in NWSA of students, scholars, and activists who are in need financial assistance to attend the conference, as well as individuals whose presence enrich the diversity of and increase participation by underrepresented constituencies in the NWSA. Particular consideration is given to student presenters and emerging scholars who have not previously received NWSA grants. Deadline is usually in the Spring.
