Chicana/Latina Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

Program Website
Each year the Chicana Latina Foundation awards merit-based scholarships to Latina college students, valued at $1,500 each. Eligible applicants are Chicana/Latina undergraduates enrolled at an educational institution in one of several Northern California counties, including San Francisco. Must be a full-time student, with a minimum 2.5 GPA, and have completed at least 12 college units. Applicant must also have lived for at least two years in one of the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, or Yolo. Recipients commit to attending the CLF Leadership Institute weekend, and to volunteering 10 hours with the Institute. Awardees may not reapply until four years after receiving a CLF Scholarship. Deadline is usually in March.
