Program Description
The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies offers fellowships under three programs that place college graduates and graduate students or professionals with a commitment to the Asian American or Pacific Islander communities into Washington, D.C. congressional offices, federal agencies, or nonprofit agencies for nine months of hands-on research and public policy work.
Benefits
Fellows receive health insurance plus a $20,000 stipend for the nine-month period.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in public policy issues of Asian Pacific Islander American communities.
Eligibility
Must have a bachelor's or graduate degree.
Citizenship
U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
